Two foreign mercenaries, a New Zealander (Shan-Le Kearns 'Oxide') and a Finn (Leo Åland 'Blade'), were killed on April 11, 2025, during a failed counter-attack by the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade near Dvorichna, north of Kupyansk. The video shows Oxide was executed by Blade, who then shot himself. Both bodies remain missing.
